That means the newest WPT Champions Club member will take home an impressive $206,153 when all is said and done here at the Casino Palacio del Emperador.

The final table payouts are as follows:

1. ° - $ 206,153
2do - $ 121,477
3 ° - $ 80,985
4to - $ 56,321

Day 2 saw the loss of several notable players, including Ronit Chamani, Liv Boeree, and mclean karr, freeing them up to hang out with the Royal Flush Girls and visit a local nature preserve (more on that later this week). To begin the day, poker pros joe cada and melanie weisner shared a table but, unfortunately, neither would survive to make it through to the money bubble. However, Melanie caught up with Lee Davy for a quick interview about her WPT experience and her trip to South Africa in general, which she’s thoroughly enjoying. Listen below:

Day 2 ended with Precio Ryan as the chip leader with 753,000 in chips and Dominik Nitsche, the Day 1A chip leader, moving down a spot into second . Play resumes at Noon local time tomorrow, so make sure to check out the Actualizaciones en vivo de WPT page to keep up with all of the action.
