WPTDeepStacks started their fourth season at Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL with a massive 1,509 player field that drew a prize pool of $1,460,000. When the dust settled, it was Michael Graffeo who took down the title and the whopping $290,000 premio del primer lugar.
Graffeo outlasted a stacked final table that included Loni Harwood, Aaron Massey, and TK Miles. With the win, Graffeo nearly doubled his career earnings to the $584,000 where it currently stands and claimed 1,200 Puntos POY.
Hay 10 more stops on the WPTDS calendar for the rest of 2017 and there is sure to be some change on the leaderboard before the end of the year but for now, Graffeo and his 1,200 points are what everyone is looking up at in the Player of the Year race. With a cash or potentially another final table, Graffeo can add to his points lead as the WPTDS schedule turns toward the second half of the season.
