One of the new features on this year's World Poker Tour is called the WPT Next Stop Satellite. All season long, players who bust out on the first few days of a WPT event will have a chance to play a mega-satellite held for players to gain entry into the next event on the tour. (Of course, the mega-satellite is open to everyone, regardless of whether or not they played in this WPT event.)
Due to some strict gaming regulations in Atlantic City (where the next WPT event will be held at the Borgata), today's Next Stop Satellite will be for entry into the WPT Bellagio Festa al Lago, which runs from October 15th-20th in Las Vegas.
The WPT Next Stop Satellite begins today at the Bicycle Casino at 6:00 pm PT. The buy-in is $1,070, and each player receives 8,000 in tournament chips with 40-minute levels. So if you'd like a shot at playing in an upcoming WPT tournament, come on down to the Bicycle Casino and take your shot!
