We have said our goodbyes, and Day 1A has ridden off into the sunset. 32-players have made it through to the second day of action, and it’s time to see how many are going to be joining them as we welcome, with open arms, Day 1B.
The World Poker Tour (WPT) Gioco Digitale sponsored Venice Grand Prix is a re-entry event and so we are expecting to see the likes of Andrea Dato, Gaelle Baumann, Ludovic Lacay and Martin Staszko return with the likes of WPT Champions Club members Andrey Pateychuk and Guillaume Darcourt. All of who failed to find their way through the eight levels of the first day of action.
It was an American poker player than headed yesterday’s final throng in Stephen Behm, and it’s another American who is sure to steal the spotlight from everyone else. We are, of course, referring to Phil Hellmuth who is due to play in his first-ever Italian poker event after flying in fresh from his PartyPoker Premier League exertions.
