2019-20 Season Gardens Main Event Champion Markus Gonsalves
The World Poker Tour has returned to The Gardens Casino in Los Angeles for the first time since early 2020, con el $5,250 Main Event kicking off today at 11:00 a.m.
This will be the WPT’s fifth time at The Gardens, with Markus Gonsalves winning the last Main Event here, defeating a field of 257 entradas para llevar a casa $554,495 for his victory. Other previous champions here include Simon Lam, Frank Stepuchin, and Roger Teska.
The first of two opening flights starts at 11 a.m. Pacific time with ten 60-minute levels on the schedule, 15-minute breaks every two levels, and a 90-minute dinner break following level 6 (aproximadamente 5:30 p.m.). Players will start with 50,000 chips and an opening level of 100/200 y un toque 200 big blind ante. Registration remains open until the start of level 9 with a single re-entry allowed in each of the starting days.
After four days of play to get to the official WPT final table, the final six players will head to the Hyper X arena in Las Vegas on May 27th to complete their quest for a huge first-place prize and their name etched in immortality on the Mike Sexton Cup.
