The final table of the record-setting Season 20 WPT Prime Cambodia $1,100 Main Event is set. Out of a field of 1,050 entries, players from seven different countries are aiming to claim the biggest slice of the $1,018,500 prize pool in the biggest WPT live poker event in Asia. Several other records were set at the five-star NagaWorld Integrated Resort in the heart of Phnom Penh.

For example, the seven-figure prize pool is the biggest in the history of the Kingdom of Cambodia and its also the largest field of the new mid-stakes poker circuit, which replaces the WPTDeepStacks tour in the 20th anniversary season of the World Poker Tour.

Best positioned for the top prize of $168,760 and added $10,400 entry to the WPT World Championships at the end of the season is Taiwan's Chi Jen "Justin" Chu, who was seemingly near the top of the leaderboard all day long. Chu ended the penultimate tournament day in dramatic fashion when he knocked out WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer from India with aces versus queens to bag up 8,615,000 en patatas fritas.

Two players from India remain in contention and will aim to bring fierce competition to the grand finale. Kunal Patni entered Day 2 as the chip leader and advanced with 6,640,000 in chips while Ankit Jajodia (2,990,000) was one of two players to bag up twice and has already added the $1,810 min cash to his resume as small bankroll boost.

The only other country to have two representatives on the final table is the Philippines. Junnie Pamplona (4,275,000) and David Erquiaga (2,895,000) both sit in the middle of the pack with plenty of big blinds. Jean Robert Autran (3,735,000) is one of many French poker players who now calls Asia his home base and ended a roller coaster day filled with lots of all-in showdowns at the peak so far.

A trio of short stacks brings up the bottom of the leaderboard including Hoang Van Nguyen (1,005,000), Patrick Soh (680,000), and Ji Jun Xu (625,000). They have fewer than 15 big blinds at their disposal with 31 minutos restantes en el nivel 26 en las persianas de 40,000-80,000 y una apuesta ciega grande de 80,000.

Besides the five and six-figure cash prizes, another interesting scenario will unfold during the final table on Monday, August 22, 2022 a partir de 1pm local time as well.

Después 18 de 23 qualifying events of the series, Patni sits in third place of the Player of the Festival (POF) ranking with 600 points. He tails Trong Hieu Ngo (825 points) and Duy Ho (650 points), the latter of which clinched the title during the WPT Prime stop in Hanoi, Vietnam. The winner of the ranking receives a package worth $5,000 for a WPT Main Tour stop and Patni's chances as second in chips are certainly evident as plenty of points are up for grabs.

Day two in the Ballroom at Naga 1 comenzó con 129 players still in contention and all of them had locked up $1,810 for their efforts. Within the first two hours of play, the field of hopefuls was already cut nearly in half as the eliminations kept coming at a rapid pace.

The frantic action never really slowed down despite a consistent average of more than 35 big blinds and there was a steady stream of players collecting their payout slips in the first half of the day. Among the early casualties were such big names as Jae Kyung "Simba" Sim, the 2022 WPT Prime Vietnam champion Zarvan Tumboli, Sumit Sapra, the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year Robert Campbell, and Hwany Lee.
